Web Support – Yolanda Aguirre

This committee is responsible for designing and updating the website periodically. In 2023, the website was moved to a new platform and has been redesigned with a fresh new look! 

Directory - Lucie Traxler and Katia Gomez

This committee produces a community wide neighborhood directory every three years. The last time our directory was updated was in December of 2021. The next directory is expected to be updated sometime in 2024. If you are good with data collection and are able to help this committee produce the next directory, please email your interest to academyhillhomesassociation@gmail.com.

Sunshine - Audrey Ishimoto

This committee welcomes new residents to our community with a welcome basket of goodies and a copy of the most recent neighborhood directory. If you would love to help Audrey welcome new neighbors to our beautiful community, you may email your interest to academyhillhomesassociation@gmail.com.

Community Beautification - Don Bronaugh

This committee works with a a group of residents that cleaning up trash in our community. The volunteers stroll through our community once a month to pick up any trash or debris they find. If you enjoy taking walks within our neighborhood and love keeping our community looking beautiful, please email your interest in joining this committee to academyhillhomesassociation@gmail.com.

Chadwick School Liaison - Katia Gomez

This committee is comprised of a few board members that have volunteered to liaison with Chadwick School periodically throughout the year on issues such as the renewal and compliance of the Conditional Use Permit conditions, the advocacy of safe driving practices within our community, the coordination of communication to residents on large school-hosted events and the maintenance of open lines of communication during emergency situations. This year in particular, the committee is advocating for a community-wide evacuation drill (which would include Chadwick School) and a few safety tips to follow in the event of an emergency.

Special Events - Position Open and Available

This is a new committee that will be developed in 2023. The committee will coordinate the annual summer community parties every year, which alternates between a family block party and an evening cocktail night for the adult residents. We are also working to add a few more special events: Visit with Santa, Easter egg hunt, Halloween event and more. If you are good at event planning, love socializing with your neighbors, are a parent with children and would love have more family friendly events within our community, please email your interest in joining this committee to academyhillhomesassociation@gmail.com.
